Bill Viner was the Donald R. Diamond Community Partner award honoree for his contributions to the Tucson community. Along with wife Brenda, they co-founded the Tucson Festival of Books, one of the largest, most popular and well respected festivals across the country – attracting over four hundred authors and one hundred thirty thousand people annually. In 1990, Bill founded the Ft. Lowell Soccer Shootout with a handful of teams, and, in 2020 was home to over 375 teams from across the country and Mexico. He continues to support local deserving causes throughout the community.
